My most-often used phrase was, “Sorry, I forgot.” Over the years, simply forgetting something has cause me more problems than I can count. Thank you cards, phone calls, grocery items, bills, enrolling for a semester of college — you name it, and I’ve forgotten to do it. For as long as I could remember, this is how it went. I began to feel as though some things were just too tough for me, that I wasn’t capable of those tasks.
